Reference Letter

Back in 2016, I email one of my old schools in New York from a request for one of my former teachers to write for me a Letter of Recommendation. And although the intent behind this was to apply to a 4-year college that I have yet to enroll in, I believe that the way she wrote this letter makes it equally applicable to a job interview, as well. As it is the only letter I currently have referring to me, my hope is that you will think the same.

Here is my Reference Letter, written in bold below:

July 5th 2016

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to you on behalf of a former student that I had, Vladimir Plantin. Although it has been several years, I do remember Vladimir as a kind, well-intentioned, and motivated student. He always persevered in his studies and was a well-liked student among his peers.

I recall Vladimir as being dedicated to his interest(s) in cartoon art and animation. He was always meticulous in his representations of his characters and in the themes he was illustrating. He worked very hard at developing a consistent style that he adapted to the various art class projects and assignments he was given by Mr. Paul Doliner, his art teacher.

Vladimir Plantin would be an asset to your program.

Sincerely,

Alene Schonhaut
