Four C’s in Writing Goals:
Crossovers
- Intercompany involvement (Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon & Disney)
- Almost all characters featured would co-exist in a shared universe, with a common place and time (usually Earth, and usually in early 21st Century)
- Crossovers are formed around common traits between franchises, such as common themes, interests, and activities
Continuation
- Picks up right after or up to a few years after the events of the original series last left off
- Research of past canon events of original series to play an important guiding role in stories’ writings
- Canon character traits, memories, interests, and relationships will all be intact
- Retconning is mostly restricted, but is allowed if necessary to improve storyline quality
Current Events
- Characters within 21st Century settings will use social media to connect between those of different shows and networks, as ways people would connect between cities, towns & nations
- Addresses classic moral values such as friendship, love, family, courage, teamwork, service, practice, and perseverance
- Stories will sometimes be educational about real science, but in ways that will be worked within stories’ plots
- Addresses some social, political and environmental topics such as diversity, xenophobia, feminism, law, greed, corruption, climate change, ocean & animal conservation
Character/Timeline Development
- All featured characters will be given full names (including first, last & perhaps middle names), including to those missing them in canon
- Origin stories are added to fill in blanks left in canon, typically through histories of different franchises intertwining with each other, if needed
