\u201cFutureman: Hero of the 25th Century\u201d<\/strong> chronicles the coming-of-age story of Vince Powerson<\/strong>, an African-American teenager born and raised in 25th-Century New York City, living with \u201cDoc Vic\u201d<\/strong>, his scientist\/engineer father, Valerie<\/strong>, his police detective mother, and Vivi<\/strong>, his younger sister, while doing normal things for even future teenagers, like going to school, playing games\/sports, & spending time with friends, like Will & Adam.Vince also lives a secret double-life as the inter-temporal superhero known as Futureman<\/strong>, whose advanced-tech suit can use wormholes to create cosmic openings to warp through space & time, and is tasked with defending his city from various threats in his own futuristic world, along with protecting humanity from the altering of the space-time continuum caused by rogue time-travelers seeking to gain wealth, fame or power, often much at history\u2019s expense.
While he sometimes does struggle with dealing with\/juggling the civilian and superhero sides of his life, his adventures throughout American & World History also help him navigate through his challenges by teaching him valuable academic & moral life lessons, along with meeting with new friends & even new family members from these time periods, including Izzy Lumi<\/strong>, his best friend from the 21st-Century who is a teenage girl, tech genius, and later in life will invent the world\u2019s first LumiGlove (a hand-wearable Smartphone widely used by people in the future).

Vincent Albert “Vince” Powerson<\/strong> – protagonist, alter-ego of Futureman<\/strong>, born on Friday, November 30th, 2435 A.D.<\/strong><\/a> in Brooklyn, NY, USA<\/strong>; African-American teenage student athlete (height 5\u20196\u201d), talented in basketball, art design & use of technology, but had also been struggling in school subjects, particularly in History & Social Studies classes (which he had dismissed as either primitive, irrelevant, boring, or harsh) prior to his role as Futureman.
