I first got my driver’s license issued on June 20th, 2019, now more than a year ago. Since then, I’ve thought about what kind of car I wanted to drive<\/strong>; I figured any car I own in the future should also be a reflection of myself, as far as features, functionality, and style are concerned. Here are some ideas I’ve got for my dream car (or plane) below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a 2017 Ford Fusion, but this doesn’t strictly have to be the car I will be driving by 2030, this is more like a rough estimate of what my future car could look like. I’ve heard from several friends of mine that Japanese cars are more durable compared to their American-brand counterparts<\/strong>, so I’m open to buying one of them, as long as they have good trunk space, with 60\/40 split rear seats<\/strong><\/a>; in the future, I’ll be riding my bicycles about as often as I drive<\/strong>, so I want somewhere good in there to pack it up. To avoid being scammed by salesmen at car dealerships, I will instead buy from either carvana.com<\/a> or cargurus.com<\/a>. I have yet to decide which company I will go to for car insurance<\/strong>, but I will go to either gabi.com<\/a> or thezebra.com<\/a> to help me compare prices for the lowest monthly rates.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

My custom license plate will be spelling out the last name of Yours Truly; it’s still available in the State of Ohio today, so I should be able to actually get this, as long as I buy it before someone else does! (tap photo for the source website).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like the paint job on my future car to be a nice shade of blue (see above) so it can be a background matching an insignia like this, to place on the front hoodie. In this iconic symbol, my VP name initials are placed here instead of a certain “S”, so no need for copyright infringement!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I would also like to see my future car be more energy-efficient, for both the environment and for my wallet. As ways to be less reliant on gas, Hyundai and Kai are already making solar panel roofs<\/a> for their future car models, to convert solar energy into electricity to power the batteries for their electric and\/or hybrid vehicles. Let’s talk ROAD TRIPS!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been looking at maps like this ever since elementary school, and I’ve always wondered what it would be like to actually visit these other states, and go on adventures there. Obviously, trips like this should be MUCH easier once I own my own car, like as you’ve just seen. I know plenty of my friends have driven these lengths a lot more often than I have, so if I’m going to make my own journeys like this in the coming decade, I’ll need some company and guidance from friends like you first<\/strong>, just to be sure I can stay safe. (Just to clarify, I want to wait until AFTER the Coronavirus issue is resolved<\/strong> – this does NOT need to be rushed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of 2014, this is a map of every state I have even been within borders of in the United States \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8, highlighted in color (light blue were layovers for traveling to other states, colored in sky blue). In deep blue is New York, where I lived from 1989 (birth) to 2011; as of 2011, I currently live in Ohio (in red).<\/strong> If it’s just in white, I’ve never been there, sadly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In addition to seeing the local attractions and activities, going to each state could give me good chances to meet in person<\/strong> with some of the American friends and family members I’ve met, known and talked with for years on Facebook: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they’re colored differently, they are “Key States”, where I have 10 or more Facebook friends living in. In light gray are the states where some friends used to live.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This might be a stretch, but I’d like to visit every U.S. state, D.C., and Puerto Rico by the year 2030<\/strong>. Now I know that includes Alaska and Hawaii, so you may be thinking, “We couldn’t take a car to Hawaii!” Or, could we….?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who says cars will always have to stay on the ground? When I was a kid, I’ve AWAYS WANTED to see cars being able to actually fly<\/strong>. Now, thanks to a Slovakian \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf0 CEO and co-founder<\/a> of a company named Aeromobil<\/strong><\/a>, along with a Japanese \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5 company named SkyDrive<\/a><\/strong>, we all could be one day be living life traveling like the Jetsons!
