The Element Titans are a team of child & teenage superheroes – named Rock-Man, Water-Woman, The Female Flame, and Aero-Boy – whose abilities include the manipulation of natural forces categorized into four classical elements: Air, Earth, Fire & Water. This series chronicles the adventures they have in helping people by fighting for liberty, truth & justice & defending the world against crime, disaster & the forces of evil. The series also tells about the coming of age events and everyday lives of the Titans’ secret alter egos Brock, Marina, Ashley & Wendell Pentin in their hometown of Hempstead City on Long Island, New York.
These 4 kids are all superpowered due to their nature as genetic hybrids: while they are half-human from their mother’s side, from their father’s side they are also half of an alien species named the Elementians, known for their abilities to control & manipulate naturally-occurring elements (ex. Oxygen) through telekinesis, and are indigenous to the exoplanet of Oxygon, known for its Oxygen-rich atmosphere, as well as its often extreme climate and weather conditions. They often spend their lives juggling their roles as superheroes and students in middle/high school, while they are raised by their common parents, Peter Pentin, a mild-mannered TV meteorologist and/or reporter for a local newspaper, and Francine Wilton, a businesswoman, philanthropist and heiress to the Wilton Family’s billion-dollar fortune, who themselves are also the former superheroes Mister Elemental & Nightwoman respectively.
